CVHS Votes Best of 2021

Well 2021 has…certainly been a year, one full of peaks and valleys. But after a year of seeing movie theaters, big and small, closed down due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, it was nice to see some reopen to the public. Entertainment in 2021 was dominated by a slew of blockbusters, whether premiering on the big screen or in the comfort of a living room via a streaming service, but smaller indie productions also emerged. Overall, different media in 2021 had a great impact on several CVHS students.  A few days ago, we asked a few of you what your favorite movies, TV shows, and albums in 2021 were.  Here is your list.

I agree that Spider-Man No Way home deserved to be first but i’m surprised the suicide squad was even on the list. The movie wasn’t too good and I have only heard negative reviews of the movie.

  • Keidon Q.

I liked the list for movies and TV shows and I agree that Spider-Man No Way Home deserved to be ranked as number 1 for 2021. However, I do not agree with the music rankings and think that there are many other bigger songs than the ones ranked for 2021.

  • Tharen Kekoa Hilliard

I really agree with “Spider Man No Way Home” winning the best movie in 2021. It was my favorite.

  • Joseph Pak

I agree with the movie and Tv show categories picks and the two winners were immensely popular and are made by Marvel. I don’t really agree with the music pick since it’s not really the type of music I enjoy, but i respect everyone’s opinion. A movie however I wish was in the top five was Shang Chi as that was personally tied with Spiderman for my favorite film of the year.

  • Francisco

I blindly voted on these because the options were very limited and I haven’t watched any of these except no way home

  • Ryan Ko

I would agree that Spider-Man No Way Home is definitely a top 3 movie of 2021.

  • Nikoletta Limnios

I agree with these ratings! I really enjoyed watching Spiderman:No Way Home, as well as Dune. Both are amazing movies.

  • Nathan Kong

I think that these rankings are rated very well. I agree with all of it.

  • tu quynh nguyen

I agree with ranking all of these. They are all great.

  • Jessica Truong

It’s so fun so see what people liked to watch and listen to this year!

I definitely agree with all these rankings!

  • Calvin Ng

I agree. Spider-Man No Way Home is the best movie of 2021. Nothing comes close.
