G.I. Joe: Retaliation is a perfect action movie

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is the perfect action movie. Throughout the movie, there are non-stop explosions, gunfire, and loads of visual effects that keep the audience entertained. However, I agree with what many of the critics are saying about all the explosions and fight scenes being a little too excessive.

This movie picks up a couple months after the last one left off, and the plan now is to stop Cobra Commander from taking over the world. I have to say that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson steals the show. All the actors were great during the action scenes, but he definitely makes them look inferior. I went into the movie expecting to see Channing Tatum beating up all the bad guys, but that was not the case.

All in all, the film was great if you’re into a bunch of action and a little suspense. The movie only had a couple twists that I wasn’t expecting, and the rest was straightforward action. The movie consisted of loads of visual effects and loud noise, which was entertaining, but overdone.

Personally, I felt that this new G.I Joe lacked a lot of the depth and background that made the first one so interesting. Still, I recommend all my army and action fans to see it.
