Apply for local scholarship

Castro Valley Sanitary District (CVSan) offers $1,000 each to winners of the CVSan Environmental Leader in Waste Reduction Scholarship. 

The award recognizes students who have helped their school reduce waste by utilizing the tenets of the 4Rs: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, and Rot. With this scholarship, CVSan hopes to foster environmental stewardship and leadership and to encourage students to take action in bringing environmental awareness to their schools.
