English teachers will open college essay clinic

CVHS English teachers and counselors will help relieve the stress of seniors applying to college with a college application essay clinic from Oct. 14 through 16 after school in room 502. Teachers and counselors will help seniors work on their college essays. 

Before coming to the clinic, the coaches ask students to draft at least one essay responding to the prompts designed by the colleges that they are applying to. 

Each student will have an initial 15 minute meeting with their coach to discuss their essay.

Then there will be a 25-30 minute follow-up during the week of Oct. 15 to 22. Remember to bring your schedule to make sure to plan a follow-up conference with your coach. 

The meetings will take place right after school, so make sure not to be late. Make sure not to miss this amazing opportunity to get advice on your essay.
