Help celebrate Canyon’s 50th birthday

To commemorate Canyon’s 50th birthday, staff and students will have the opportunity to create painted ceramic tiles that will be added to a wall designed to celebrate the legacy of the middle school that was formerly a high school and junior high school. The cost is $5.

There are currently two opportunities to come create a painted ceramic tile. One is during Canyon’s Open House, Thursday, April 23 between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The second is during the school’s 50th Birthday Celebration on Saturday, May 2, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Visit Room H-4 during Open House or on May 2. Canyon art teacher Diane DeYoung will supervise this special event. Another date may be added based on interest.
