Read MoreSince January 2022, Artists’ Abode’s mission has been to provide a space for student artists and writers to showcase their work to the CVHS (and Castro Valley) community. As the educator and activist Cesar A. Cruz once said, “art should comfort the disturbed and disturb the comfortable.” Art can be an instrument for self-expression, escape, social change, but also as a door towards vulnerability, towards a recognition of our shared humanity. If you’d like to submit your piece, please visit https://tinyurl.com/poetryolympian for poetry/short story submissions, and https://tinyurl.com/artolympian for visual art/photo submissions. We look forward to reviewing your work!
