ASB election results announced
CVHS election results are in, and the winners for the ASB elections are Alex Winn (ASB president), Natalia Jamal (ASB vice president), Adibelle Liu (ASB treasurer), Tamdin Bista (ASB secretary), and Sophia Bonilla (ASB school board representative).
“My goal is to build on the many school events we have at CVHS, such as the culture fest and the winter ball, and make them as inviting and fun as they can be. I believe the key piece is to encourage more students to engage with each other to experience everything we have to offer and have a great time along the way!” said new ASB President Winn.
“I will strive to create a strong and inclusive impact on all aspects of the student bodies experience at CVHS, to ensure that everyone feels heard and supported through their time at Castro Valley High!” said new ASB Vice President Jamal.
“As your ASB Treasurer, I plan to manage finances and funds responsibly and efficient in a way that sticks to the best interest of the school. I will communicate clearly and make sure the voices of the student body are heard! I hope to make our school a better place together!” said new ASB Treasurer Liu.
“As your ASB Secretary, I will strive to ensure that our school is welcoming and inclusive to everyone! I hope to create more events and activities that bring our student body together, so that students can form new bonds and friendships which overall leads us towards a fun and memorable school year,” said new ASB Secretary Bista.
“I am running to ensure our class maintains its high level of engagement. If I win, I will work to provide the same excitement we had as Freshmen and help every student avoid the ‘sophomore slump’ by creating new opportunities for us to connect,” said new ASB School Board Representative Bonilla.
Senior class election winners are Kai Rasmussen (president), Paige Pacheco (vice president), Ethan Koo (treasurer), and Dylan Hidayat (secretary).
Junior class election winners are Sarah Yang (president), Bella Velasquez (vice president), Teagan Larson (treasurer), and Joanna Li (secretary).
Sophomore class election winners are Phoebe Ramos-Yee (president), Tyler Lunes (vice president), Oliver Wu (treasurer), and Sofia Chkhartishvili (secretary).
