Lockdown hits school after hours

CVHS went into a lockdown around 4:15 p.m. at the direction of the Alameda County Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 2, 2019. 

After an undetailed incident off campus involving a number of CVHS students, two of the students returned to campus. 

One student was then detained without incident and the other student was taken out a classroom by police. 

Parents and staff were informed via email around 6 p.m. by Principal Blaine Torpey.
