Decode our genomes at CFA lecture
The Castro Valley Educational Foundation (CVEF) is continuing with its series of free science lectures. On Thursday, Jan. 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Center for the Arts (CFA), CVEF will host Dr. Katie Pollard from The University of California, San Francisco who will be “Decoding Our Genomes.”
Dr. Pollard will talk about what human DNA can tell us about our closest relatives (chimps, Neanderthals) and who is traveling with us (microbial cells).
Past lectures have been huge successes with as many as 450 attendees.
