Free lecture about climate change

“Climate Change and Mass Extinctions” will be the subject of a free lecture at Castro Valley High’s Center for the Arts on Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.

Dr. Roopnarine from the California Academy of Science will discuss past climate change effects and the extinction of dinosaurs.

The Castro Valley Educational Foundation is sponsoring the event and future lectures such as “What Makes us Human” on Jan. 10 and “Big Bangs and Black Holes” on March 13.
