“The Fall Guy” impresses moviegoers.

After discovering that Tom Ryder, a famous action star, was plotting to plant his stunt double’s death on him, Colt Seavers decides to get Tom to confess, so that he won’t get convicted of a crime he didn’t do. 

With Ryder believing that Seavers died in a boat chase they had, Seavers decides to sneak onto the set of Ryder’s movie and get him to confess during a dangerous stunt. As Seavers is about to do a 250-foot. jump with Ryder, Ryder’s guards are trying to stop Seavers. 

Tense moments like this can be seen throughout the movie The Fall Guy.

The whole time I was watching this scene, I was sitting on the edge of my seat, worrying about what was going to happen next to Seavers as he attempts the 250-foot jump while driving away from Ryder’s guards as they try to kill him. 

By having this scene being a massive stunt, the film’s director, David Leitch, is able to show the audience another clash between the protagonist, Seavers, and the force of the antagonist, Ryder, while also adding more to the film’s theme, how stunt people put their life on the line for other people to be entertained, which only added more to how much I already enjoyed watching the movie.

When the movie starts, Seavers is hired to be the stunt double for Ryder on his ex-girlfriend’s directorial debut. However, issues soon arise when Ryder’s film producer, Gail Meyer, reveals to Seavers that Ryder is missing and that Seavers should find him before the film goes over budget. 

If you’re a fan of comedic, romantic, or tense scenes, then don’t worry you’ll find plenty of such scenes in “The Fall Guy.”
