Boys volleyball beats Piedmont on senior night

The Trojans’ senior night culminated in a resounding victory against Piedmont on Tuesday, April 23, with a commanding 3-0 score. Before the game, the seniors received well-wishes from their teammates and family members, and then the team took to the court and won the game.

Senior Michael Ly was a force to be reckoned with on the court, boasting a staggering kill percentage of 77.8%. Senior Grant Guiomar excelled in both serving and digging, as he finished with two aces and seven digs. Senior Lukas Winn delivered a standout performance with 10 kills and an impressive kill percentage of 62.5%.

“The game went pretty well. We played pretty good. We had a lot of collaboration and a lot of hard work into that. So it was nice that we won,” junior Devin Hidayat remarked.

As the final whistle blew, the gym erupted into cheers. Exiting the court, the Trojans currently hold second place in the league, with their first playoff game on May 2 against the winner of Amador Valley vs Deer Valley.
