Girls tennis team continues with the wins

Continuing with the wins, the CVHS girls varsity tennis team crushed San Leandro High School’s Pirates 7- 0 on Sept. 12.

Rachel Dong, who has been undefeatable so far, once again dominated her match beating her opponent, 6-0 and 6-0.

Single players Elena Lottich and Lauren Leong both came in with wins, 6-4, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-0 respectively.

Gabby Madison brought another win for the Trojans, defeating her opponent 6-0 and 6-1.

For doubles, Paige Cason and Samantha Cheung had an amazing performance and crushed their opponents 6-0 on both sets.

With a rough start, Kele Fong and Alex Tam managed to beat the Pirates 3-6, 6-2 and 6-3 on their final set.

Victoria Vitton and Riley Powers were also victorious as a doubles team.

CVHS has shown to have incredibly skilled players so far and the Trojans most certainly have a great season ahead of them.
