Musicians shine at Mulan concert

The CVHS cafeteria was filled with the sound of Mulan music on Friday, Nov. 14. The CVHS Instrumental Music Department hosted the sing-a-long fundraiser event. Over 200 people attended, and the department raised over $500.

The night started off with the band and orchestra performing pieces from the Disney Mulan soundtrack. Songs included “Reflection,” “A Girl Worth Fighting For,” “Honor to us All,” and the ever-popular, “I’ll Make a Man out of You.”

After the music, the attention turned to the big screen and everyone gathered to watch the Mulan movie. Students, siblings, parents, and teachers alike all had a blast singing along with the songs.

“It was really fun,” said sophomore band student Natalie Blumberg.
