Jobs: “He made us part of his imagination”

Over the weekend I had the pleasure to watch Jobs, a movie directed by Joshua Michael Stern. The movie follows the life of the great Steve Jobs, co-founder, chairman, and CEO of Apple, from his college years to the introduction to the iPod in 2001.

As teenagers, we tend to automatically think of our phones when thinking of Jobs. I know I have. Jobs gave me a look behind Apple and all its magnificent history.

I came across this film on Netflix and thought I’d give it a try. In the film, we are given Jobs’ best and worst moments. We see the hardships that came with Apple’s giant success and the friendships that were lost along the way.

Jobs is played by Ashton Kutcher, who did such an amazing job. From the way Jobs walked to the way he looked into people’s eyes, Kutcher played Jobs as if he had been following him around for years. It’s amazing the things an actor can do to commemorate a figure such as Steve Jobs.

Now, after seeing the movie, I am in awe of Jobs and what he created for us. He made us part of his imagination and I know that his legacy will affect millions.

I was surprised to see mixed reviews on Jobs. Every detail was perfectly positioned to see what the director’s vision of Jobs was. This is definitely one of my favorite all time films and I couldn’t recommend it more.
