Renaissance rewards students for good grades

IMG_0704

Renaissance is back. Renaissance helps the school by providing a good incentive for students to work hard, it gives students recognition and it is a way to reward students for having good grades academically motivating them to continue working hard.

“I believe it is a good program and it is very rewarding for students who work hard,” said Leadership business manager Alejandro Gonzalez. “It really boosts morale for students and makes them more motivated.”

How much the school spends on it depends on the level of participation in the Renaissance. This year the school spent $2,000 on it, which went to getting t-shirts and other prizes. CVHS also gets sponsors that donate items towards Renaissance.

The Renaissance is great for recognizing students who work hard and makes them feel good about themselves if they are not in a sport or club.
