Hot Trojans win in hot weather

CVHS had an impressive 49-12 win against the Mt. Eden Monarchs on Sept. 1. In spite of extremely hot weather, the Trojans executed an excellent game.

Running back Cameron Brown scored two touchdowns, caught one reception and ran 17 times for 161 yards.

Wide receiver Austin Fields caught four passes for 33 yards, scored a touchdown and caught two interceptions.

Oscar Olave ran the ball 13 times for 101 yards.

Another highlight of the game was when team captain Aaquil Ansar caused a fumble on the opening kickoff and teammate Alex Flores returned the ball for a touchdown.

The Trojans bounced back from a tough 27-19 loss against Dublin on Aug. 25, and now have a record of one win and one loss.
