The Trojans took second in the WACC wrestling championships at Arroyo High School on Saturday Feb. 20. It was a devastatingly close loss to San Leandro, 216-210.5.

The Trojans, however, were victorious over the other participating schools: Arroyo, Mt. Eden, Albany, San Lorenzo, Berkeley, and Hayward

Many Trojans wrestled with determination and passion. Wrestlers Aidan Milligan, Robert Terhell, Christian Chacon, Dane Clemensen, and Ray Maxwell were all WACC champions, yet despite the successes, the team remained humble.

“We all wrestled very well and hard, while we still have a ways to go as long as we keep putting in work we can achieve a ton,” said Milligan, a junior.
