Trojans terrorize and trump Tennyson

In a massive victory over Tennyson, the Trojans varsity basketball team won with a 44-point margin. Throughout the game Trojans led with more than double Tennyson’s score, ending in a 82-38 victory.

Within the first minute of the game Trojans already had scored 15 points. Five of the first eight baskets were 3-pointers, scored by Juan Anderson and Roderick Bobbitt.

“We try to treat every team with respect, regardless of the game, we are always trying to get better,” commented head coach Nick Jones. “We need to improve our defense and this game was just a chance to work on it and to improve,” Jones added.

“A win is a win, we are always going to go out and do our best,” commented forward Michael Prophet. “It’s been great to be back on the field after break and coming back to this win was great. Every time we play it is just another chance to improve,” added Prophet.

Anderson led scorers with 27 points with Bobbitt following close behind with 21 points. The game was an overall success for the Trojans.
