Jenny Lin Foundation is hosting a Child Safety Contest

The Jenny Lin Foundation is holding a Child Safety Contest in order to promote child safety and youth musicianship in the community. The contest is open to all students in elementary, middle and high school. Students can enter by creating a project that improves the elements of child safety.

The project can be in any form, such as PowerPoint, painting, photography, video, etc. A paragraph no longer than 500 hundred words that explains the project’s message should be included.

Participants should email the foundation at jhlin.sbcglobal.net by March 15 with their intent to submit a project. The deadline for submission of the actual project is April 20 at PO Box 21150, Castro Valley, CA 94546. If a project can be emailed, it should be in .pdf format and emailed to jhlin@sbcglobal.net.

Prizes will be awarded in each age group. High school prizes can be as high as $200.

Finalists will be notified by May 15 and invited to the Jenny Lin Memorial on May 24 at the Castro Valley Library where winners will be announced.
